The Groovy Ape Mystery

If you were to look at my 'games' page you would see the lone entry(Hopefully, this will soon be untrue) of a game I made just over a year ago titled, "Groovy Ape". A few peculiar events occurred a few minutes ago when I decided to Google the term "Groovy Ape".

1. As the fourth or something entry the kid who is number 2 on my myspaces "top 8".

Weird coincidence, eh? Anyway, besides that nothing really interesting, the strangeness took course when I refined my search to "Groovy Ape Game".

The first result was a link to a website called demonews.com "Demon Ews", I thought what a retarded name, as I am writing this I come to the realization that it is "Demo News" and not "Demon Ews". I clicked on the ole link and found none other than my brainchild available for download. I know that I did not put this game on the site, who did? The bigger question: why? Egotism aside I have to admit Groovy Ape is a game that can provide 15 maybe 20 minutes, max, of entertainment to the patient gamer. What could possible possess a person to take my game without my permission and put it on their website? Seriously! What perplexed me further was the fact that they didn't bother to put on the latest version, so the version available from their site doesn't even work correctly.

Whatever, thanks for the promotion. I guess?

In other news, I have been trying to download GM7 all day and yoyogames keeps telling me to register and i keep searching for a place to register and it eludes me. Although it appears they are going thru server upgrades or something of that nature so perhaps that is the cause of my problem.

Also, if you have a bunch of old crap sitting around your house like I do, I suggest you check out swaptree.com, You'd be surprised how many people will trade you brand new DVDs for crappy PS2 games from '03.
