Hello.

I've become rather less than enamored with my current banner, which has a certain "default" feeling attached to to it. It just seems so drab: dark storm clouds rippling across a plain of digits just doesn't do it for me anymore.

There was a time when I could whip up a half decent banner, something that stirred troops into action, something that plucked at the heartstrings of all men and led them to do great things.

Great things like make me a banner.

If you lack the faculties necessary to pierce through my bluntly suggested point above, the issue is this:

I need a new banner, and I'm not good at making them.

I know a few of you out there experiment with art as a medium. You probably sit in front of your computer late at night, clicking away at a bunch of pixels, scared that Father will bust down your door and say "Son, it doesn't look like your out milking the cows like you should be. Fetch my belt."

Needless to say post-whipping you sit awkwardly in your chair, icing your bruises and loading your various gifs and jpegs like some sort of, some…<i>artist</i>.

But I digress. My need is great for a new banner to grace my page, and there will be much rejoicing, not to mention fabulous prizes, for the one who delivers a piece stunning enough to carry my name.
