Hey kids,
Just wanted to ask the community if they could help me out with some designs I need for a site I'm making.I need three to four 46 by 46 pretty, glossy icons that can mesh well with a subdued color scheme (actual foreground/background hex codes below).To do this, I want you to submit to me your design for the first icon in the list below. If I like it, I'll pay you for the rest of the icons I need. I'll probably pay between $5 and $10 per icon. I'll pay you when I get paid for the site, which means in a few months, so you have to be patient.If you submit a design to me and I don't pick it, I promise not to use your submitted design in any project or work at all.icon list, remember these are all 46 by 46:-video camera-generic upper half of person (a la: this)-glossy green arrow pointing up-more to comeon the color scheme below:this is just what the site looks like. use whatever colors you want. if you want to do it for free, go ahead.color scheme:background: #999999banner color: #003366link color: #0059B3alt color: #B37700thanks!
@joseph - I like :D
Joseph's Icons > SY's
Thanks. Glad you like them. Hopefully kev feels the same way.
Hmm…takes on a Vista-style shading, or at least what I can tell from here.
shading? the drop shadows or the gradient?
vista's gradients start from the center and grow out.maybe the color is what you're seeing. now that I look, it is pretty close.It's both, more the drop shadows. It doesn't really matter, but I just noticed. =P
I'll try, I'm usually good with shiney, smooth, glossy stuff. (Just look at my icon/banner :D)
Lol…he went with marbs because he posted two hours earlier than I did. But, whatever, it's not my website.
nope!
