I went back from my brother's house, yesterday, and, man, it's was great! I had to play on his XBox until wrestling came on. But I'm here to talk about the Nintendo Wii.
My mother got her a Wii last month, finally, and it was cheap. It had Wii Sports included in every box. Then my mother spent time with me, and my friends, playing Wii Sports. My, my… Playing with the Wii does look like you are part of the action! My mother also got a Nunchuck so he/she can connect to a Wii remote. The Wii remote had a motion sensor, force feedback, trigger, directional, and 6 buttons: Positive, Negative, Home, A, 1, and 2. The nunchuck had an analog stick identical to the GameCube controller's 'C` stick, C and Z buttons. And the controller that I didn't purchased is the Wii classic controller. It was identical between Super Nintendo and GameCube. It had force feedback, directional pad, top buttons: L, R, 1 and 2, 2 analog sticks, and 7 other buttons: a, b, x, y, Select, Home, and Start. The games they own were:Enemy Territory is still online! Castle Wolfenstein was discovered in the early 1980's and it was a classic adventure. We'll discuss how Enemy Territory reign supreme next time. And coming soon, Super Mario Bros. Plus 2005 demonstrated recordings might be made, and my new web sites, so stay tuned for that. Happy gaming!

The light guns used a kinda crappy system where they blacked out the screen and did some stuff for a fraction of a second and switched back to normal graphics. Sadly that type of detection doesn't work on every type of tvs and, for example, wont work on plasma or lcd screens. As Kabob said, it blackened out the screen, kinda. It left all shootable objects white, and the gun detected if it was pointed at a white object at the time, then switched back to full color.
It also had to do each object at a seperate time so it could figure out which object it was pointing at.
Hah. I haven't seen an NES for about ten years, but I vaguely remember the flashing bit after you guys mentioned that.
I'm pretty satisfied with not playing my wii I mean the first party games were good (I bought madworld but that hurt my eyes and stuff also the controls are clunky) the only thing I like about the wii controls are the fps's they are nice on it I mean not too impossibly easy to control like the pc fps's but not to awkward like other console's fpses.
But I'm enjoying all the games i've got I mean It's so nice to see all the pretty graphics on my computer on the high res high AA etc etc. sometimes it gives me the illusion that it's real. For example I recently got dirt 2 which is spectacular to play and view and I'm not even running it at max (I need a dx11 card for that which I will get in the summer) but even with only a few settings notched down by only one (from ultra to high) it's magnificent. Also I've realized how old crysis is and it scares me to wonder what crysis 2 looks like (on the pc).Eventually I'll get my family one.
