So, I read about this site while reading DevMag and it sounded like a really cool place to check out and upload game maker games. I especially like the examples section. Anyways, I'm a sophmore in high school and other than using the DnD of Game Maker my only actual programming experience is with BASIC, and im starting to tackle GML and later want to try some flash and actionscript.
One of my goals with my games is to include concepts that aren't done much to make the game a bit more grassroots or experimental (the first site i ever uploaded to was experimentalgameplay.com under the name rtatpi :P). As for now though, I'm still learning the ropes and getting a feeling for what GM can do. My current projects are a game that is kind of like a spritual successor to Koopa Attack, which i just put into the queue to get hosted as well as a turn-based fighting game which has a few gameplay twists that I think are pretty cool, and I hope you will too. Well, that's me for now, and i can't wait to get into the community here. -Leeto

If they aren't, well that'd be odd, cause their are a few REALLY bad games that pass.What happens when ChIkEn is fed?Ha thanks it would be real cool if they get uploaded. Hopefully the game doesn't feel TOO rushed because when I made it I was tring to pertain to the rules of this other games site where a game must be made in less than a week and by one person. I didn't feel i needed to add to that version more though since im working on making my own art and such for the "sequel".
