Decided on a design change from this:

To this:

If you haven't noticed the change, the cartidge slot has changed from being at the top (like a GBA) to perpendicuar.
Reason being cartridge slot relocation is not wanting to work. I don't really like having the cartridge coming out perpendicular, but at on the bright side it gives more room for batteries, so more play time! If I do make another N64p I will try cartridge slot relocation again, since I think I know where I went wrong.
Nifty.

Not as nice looking, but it works, so cool. :)
I'd think you'd want it to go right inside almost, be a bit cumbersome walking around with it sticking out. Ah well, happens
If I find another N64 at a boot sale going cheap I will give the cartridge relocation another shot, it's just I only have one N64 left and I don't want to risk breaking it. Besides, relocating the cartridge slot is one of, if not the longest, hardest and most tedious part of making a portable, so by skipping it out I avoid having another part to check if something goes wrong (especially good considering there are 48 wires, 96 connections to check!).
