Well, I can't believe the attention I am receiving from Yoyo games about Kyle's Quest. I know it is well made, but does it deserve to be on the top 10. I went there and it is on the front page. It has been fluctuating between 4th and 10th place but still, I was fricking surprised. Even more surprising still is the fact that the game is a staff pick ( see it here ). Yesterday I was going crazy. I was so excited I snapped a picture of the front page (during my highest rating) to keep as a testament. I was even (briefly) better than SEIKLUS.

Then I was told that I was going to be in the GMC cage match with Immortal Defense ( here ). I lost (because IM is a shareware with commercial quality), but then I realized something. What is it I wanted from this game. To be honest. I have completely forgotten, but maybe I just wanted to make a good game. Still, 200 downloads and some critical acclaim never hurt anyone.

Over at the GMG forums I meet a N00b who said he was trying to "parody" the many mario fan games out there with a game he made to show how bad other games are. The game was so bad I got sick playing it. I went back to the forum to tell him that the game is horrible ( here) He wouldn't listen, saying that it was deliberately crappy. I told him (in a very lengthy statement) that a parody is funny and that he has done nothing but create a game that joins the very games it is trying to parody, but nooh, he comes acting all "mature" and says he wasn't taking it serious. Noobs these days, Just don't come around here, we don't welcome noobs.
