[mazi] worm.win32.NetSky, Defeated bastard

It has been a week and I still havent been able to beat that virus. It managed to elude the combined effort of Norton 2006 (I know it is out dated and sucks), Ad-Aware 2007, AVG and Antivir. I am now using Kaspersky, but it is so slow. It took 4 hours to get to 40% on full system scan and I am still scaning as I speek (I am typin gfrom school). I sure hope this works else I would have to do the unthinkable, System Restore (Noooooooo!!!).

EDIT: I fixed it mother fuckers!!! I HP used system restore, It turns out there is a Restore mechanism built into the PC. It uses 17% of my hard drive and reinstaled windows, complete with all I left behind (Including with a 60 day subscription). The only down side is that the My documents folder is clean and I forgot to back up some of the stuff on it.

Well, If anyone took my poll, you would notice a glitch in the system. Apperantly, easypoll.com does not allow multiple polls(despite the fact that the stupid thing allowed me make that many). Because of this, only the final agregate score works. I will find another poll site to take the final scores as well as add new games like mass effect. If you recommend any sites to check let me know.

Also, have you ever compared an Xbox360 game and a PS3 game side by side? I have been looking at the multiplatform games on for both consoles and have noticed that the Xbox games look better than the PS3 games. Really I am not making this up. At first they looked the same ( The darkness and NBA 08 ) But then it started to become more obvious (Madden 08 ,Need for Speed: Pro Street , and more recently Assasins Creed ). I believe the problem is in the Cell Processor. Don't get me wrong, The PS# is obviously the more powerful console, but the Cell is hard to work with, which is why FF13 and MGS4 are taking so long. Besides, these games are made using Xbox technology (i.e: windows). This reminds mo of the sega saturn, with it's two CPU's that no one cared about.

I'd suggest adding Spybot S&D to your arsenal, and using Autoruns from Sysinternals to kill startup items (read the instructions before you start trashing around though).

I think it's too late for system restore. Restore points get deleted after some time. So you might have to do the unthinkable, reinstall the windows.

Safe mode+ Megalarge memory stick + copy over all vital thangs= good.

Then, reformat your drive, reinstall windows, and plug your stick in.

WORST CASE SCENARIO, though.
