Hello 64 digits. Sorry for the extended absence (what am I apologizing for? No one reads this blog, just look at the number of friends I have) but I had nothing to blog about. So I decided to take the weeks off. Besides, This is finals week so I have been busy. I will compile the GAME OF THE YEAR blog later. I am just waiting for Unreal 2007 and finals to finish.
I have been trying to make a platform game using GMphysics (not like marbs' Dominoes). The problem I am having is that the character is not moving and animating the way I want especially on slopes. As for sprites, I have found a way to animate and export my character with flash. The problem however is that the exported image comes out less than perfect (thanks to lossy compression) so I have to iron out the edges with paint. http://64digits.com/users/mazimadu/kyle_anim.PNGSpeaking of flash, I heard that some of you are looking for programs that can create SWF programs that don't cost $200+. I found one that is part of an entire suite. You can use OpenOffice.org Impress part of the OpenOffice.org suite. It basically is a clone (and a very good one at that) of MS powerpoint, but unlike powerpoint, it can export to SWF directly. Give it a try and maybe you may like it. It's free. You know in one of my blogs I stated that the battle with ganon was one of the best boss fights of all time in my top 5 boss list.

true, but did you know that he also appeared in one of the worst games of all time (one notorious game that mist my worst games list). Yes in link, faces of evil (description) he was a stupid final boss that dies in one of the most anticlimactic battles I have ever seen.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imlyVV0yYKoWTF is this. You kill Ganon, one of the greatest bosses of all time, by throwing a slow moving, easily dodgeable book at him. I know that the CD-i is horrible but this, THIS, I just can't start with this game. I will do that in another blog.
Hahahahahh!
"NO! NOT INTO THE PIT! IT BURNS!""OH BOY! I'M SO HUNGRY, I COULD EAT AN OCTOROK!"
OpenOffice.org is great, but Impress' exports for SWF don't do animations. By that I mean if you use the animation functions with OpenOffice.org Impress it won't export to SWF, only the slides will. The results would also be more complicated since slides are being used and doing it frame by frame is too slow. If you're interested in doing non-Flash vector animation check out Synfig, it isn't finished, but is coming along nicely.
I took a look at Synfig. It looks nice and would be nice competition to flash. I just hope it can do as many things as flash like make symbols ans actionscript.
And how would a person do that? ;)
or you can get a trial and find a keygen
like me :PNote: 64digits does not support hacking in any way - It's just me doing at my own accord.64digits in no way can be blamed.Keygens are not haxz0rising, that's different
Or, you could get a trial of Fireworks and a keygen, like me.(The code follows over, I revel in my evil)Also, W T F was that vid!
Oh, poor ganon, defeated by a wierd book thing, and didn't even hit link!Oh, the sheer crappyness!ans i sometimes use a crack
