I just want to start this blog with a bitch: I HATE the new Soundcloud set up. It's like the site saw all of the hard work I put into compiling my sets and organizing my tracks and decided to say "fuck this shit" while undoing everything. Dicks.
Cool Guy Bob Surlaw DEMOSo this is an RPG Glock and I did the soundtrack for. It's about a fish-monster who gets a nose job. This is a very early demo that only gets past the first dungeon boss. The game features a branching dialogue system and the option to turn random battle on or off. You all should check it out because, honestly, how often are you going to get the chance to play a game about a fish-monster who gets a nose job?Cool Guy Bob Surlaw SoundtrackThat's a link to the soundtrack thus far. We have a few more tracks ready, but I'm not going to post them until the complete game is released. Also in this set list are a few other random tracks that Glock and I made. I've already posted most of them here, except for this one:Sneakers On PowerlinesSo that's it for now. Hope you all dig this shit. As always, any comments are welcome and appreciated. Thanks for the listen!
I've listened to these already, I quite like them.
That Cool Guy game looks weird, but at least it's got a nice soundtrack, so I'll check it out, I guess. The new Soundcloud is stupid. Is there a way I can arrange my sets? Or make it so a specific set is the first thing that's shown on my page?Aside from being additionally confusing, I do like the new sound images. So I figured out how to get the old Soundcloud back. In the upper right hand corner of the screen, there is a little button that says "more." Click on it and you are given the option to go back to the old style.
I DO like some aspects of the new version, but Steven summed up my main complaint very well. And I wish I could answer Charlie's questions, too. Hopefully they iron this shit out. Most of my favorite bands are British, so I guess it's only natural that that influence comes through in our music. Thanks for listening, guys! It's nice to know that our music is reaching more than just our four ears. It's even better knowing that someone kind-of-sort-of likes it.I liked Bob's Theme a lot.
Thanks! I got to do some deejaying on that one. Actually, a few tracks on the soundtrack have scratches. I need to break out my turntables more often. Scratches would have brought the Dungeonmen soundtrack to the next level!
Well it sounds very impressive. They all fit together nicely.
Well done!
