I bought a copy of 3D World magazine today, something I've never done before (not really into 3D art). But anyhow, I tried out the free copy of DAZ + free Aiko and Hiro models. Extremely good if you want to make quick character frames to export into Adobe PS. Here are some quick ones I did (click for larger image)
Next… I feel I need to begin to introduce you guys to the cast of my long-time project, Hazed. (notice the portraits have been drawn in a FFT style)
Julias Yulei - the young, aeir to the Yulei name. However his traits differ from the normally stereo-typed rich kid. He only cares about his sister's wellbeing, as her illness had separated their closeness. Quick to act, and posesses an unusually strong sense of justice. He blames himself for Madeline's condition.
Madeline Yulei - Julias' sickly sister. Years ago, while she and her brother were playing on a frozen-over lake, she had fallen through the ice, remaining under there, barely escaping death's grasp. She developed a chronic case of pneumonia afterwards. She has an adept hobby for drawing.More details on the story + more sketches will come. Anyone who guesses what the symbol on Julias' head means gets a 'glazed chestnut'!Oh yeah, another screen for my GMG contest entry.
I once fell in ice and survived by breathing from the thin layer of air in-between the ice and water… ok, not really, but that's what I will do XD

Heh heh… knew you'd be here sooner or later Jabb. I love Hazed too, its one of the very few projects I actually enjoy making.
