Inspiration is a funny thing when you think about it. It can spawn from almost anything - sometimes even out of the blue!
Inspiration I've achieved happens nearly every day. This can sometimes be a bummer though because I drift away from my bigger, more important projects easily.Once, I even found inspiration when I was in a JAP class practising calligraphy. Ink spurt out onto my paper accidentally (I was halfway done too :( ) and it pictured a mutated stick man with one arm on a solid platform. It gave me an idea to create a game where you climbed upon a wall, and swinging from branch to branch. It never got developed though.Yep, inspiration is weird. What kind of inspiration have you had? Is it so interesting you want to share it? Why not post it here?
What an odd word… inspiration.
Well, games will mostly inspire me.And other stuff.sounds like my inspiration, just about anything can give me a game idea.
*glances at lightbulb*great now i want to make a game where you are trapped in a huge lightbulb and must dodge heat waves 0.0i inspire myself with my greatness.
I haven't really been inspired to a point where I'll actually make something.
whenever I get inspiration my imagination goes too far and well, I leave the idea as a simple dream.
my inspiration comes from everything. i always try to use the ideas i come up with or atleast try not to forget it. thats why i have SO MANY wips on here that i know i wont finish cause im on the next project. i dont usually finish games. to be honest, i have a folder on my computer called Dark Sirrus, in that one called Games Folder, and a folder for every project ever ive made on this computer. there are like, 100 - 200 folders lol. like, i just posted a wip called BOMBER. it would be a miracle if i finished it
lol I get inspired by ma trusty final fanatsy 7 games and any anime, currently i'm working on a megaman game becaz it just appealed to me all the sudden. all i'm god at is RPG's any way lol
Mostly books, but anything at all can inspire me.
