Hazed is back in production, and making consdierable progress! But in a whole new way.
Looks different, I know; and not just the colours (this colour scheme allows me to have a more dreamscape like feel). I've gone back to my roots of the first version, then tweaking a lot of gameplay factors, but the brilliantly detailed and quirky environments stay. I've been playing many old adventure games and have been incorporating some of their traits + some of my own innovations. Now, gameplay is based around learning skills to advance - and you can be taught skills by various NPCs, but you can only hold 1 skill at a time. This may sound restricting, but it allows for variety in the gameplay. eg: learn how to use a sickle > go out on a scavenge hunt for items; learn how to use a rifle > go trigger happy on a giant monster. And to top it off, my newest illustration.
The illustration is good, but it looks too scribly.
Nice illustration, and nice screeny …Although the character is pretty small.
Illustration looks nice. Oddly makes me think of a death god …with guns.
I especially like the coloring, and the tie.Screenshot looks nice, but looks shrunken down.Make up your mind, darn it. I want to see you finish something.
Anyways, nice new color scheme. It doesn't really make sense that you can only learn one skill at once, though. Does he have short term memory loss or something?Your username looks like n00bel Arts at first.:O
Come on, give us an update, n00bel. :P
I'm bored and no one else is home. Pestering people for updates is all I have.i really like the screenshot of that game. i'm really digging the influx of games in this style; namely smallness, bland, and caveman.
