The .NET Framework is extremely stupid, and even worse with VB because it goes against everything that the BASIC language is based on. The BASIC language was meant to be BASIC, and the .NET framework is aimed at the experienced coder.
I get what your saying but Im only 13! Didnt i say somewhere i was saving up for vb anyway?

its so much faster but .net has a lot of useful new functions… I prefer 6 though because its more basic and as you said .net ruins the basic part and 6 is as basic as it gets.I dont really like .NET although it has some good features, its not 'BASIC' anymore its a whole new language really….. ill buy VB so i can learn both :)
