I have gotten spaceman-infatuation, so I am beginning a multi-genre space/planet adventure game based on our beloved hero Spaceman Spud. This game, unlike my others, I will try to completely plan out (hmm malaika?). Spaceman Spud will slightly resemble my avatar, but blue and more "classic" looking. I'll be needing help from good ol' melee, most likely.

I doodled a lot of concept sketches, and I have a very good idea of his character. I will also be having one of my friends do a bunch of voice acting, so there will be a lot of speech (mostly "well this sucks" and "sh*t", stuff like that).

The game will have 2 types of slopes (45 and 20), ladders, and a 8-direction aiming system I've wanted to try for awhile now (I won't say how it works yet, I want to keep some surprises). The ray gun will have various settings, such as "rare". "well done","bioled","charred", etc. The more powerful a setting, the more power it takes from your blaster (power regains over time or a pick-up).

So at the moment I have

-enemie concpet sketches/animations

-level designs

-sounds

I'm trying to leave the "unnecessary" graphical stuff alone until I have the completeengine, storyline, and dialogue.

And I actually have a coke, for once =D

Sigh, I feel very disillusioned for some reason.
