Drew some help/reference to "shadow people".Some of them are slow due to gamemaker's habit of speeding up the animation.There are obviously no arms- that is because the system I plan to employ (8, maybe 16 directional shooting) uses the numberpad. WASD will control you character, who at the moment can doublejump, walljump, climb ladders, go on ziplines (kinda), and go up 2 slop types. The shooting engine will work like so- put your hand on the numberpad. 8 is shoot up, 7 upper-right, 9 upper left, 6 right, 4 left, 2 down, etc. If I get lucky (melee, pls) you may even be able to do 8+9 and go 70 degrees or so. 5 would be melee attack. The right arrow key and 0 (on the #pad) would toggle your weapon, while Q, E, F, +,-*,/ etc will have other functions. This will obviously be new to many people, so quite a few learning levels will be necessary.I will be needing help on quite a few parts of this, programmer help, and I don't think it's fair to rely on melee.
