The least-common number is...

…six!

Don't believe me? Look at the statistics:

(Number of google results per digit

8,620,000,000 - 1

7,440,000,000 - 2

6,940,000,000 - 3

5,900,000,000 - 4

6,280,000,000 - 5

368,000,000 - 6

4,900,000,000 - 7

5,030,000,000 - 8

4,630,000,000 - 9

4,060,000,000 - 0

As you can see, six is much less common than any other number less than ten.

Purple is the least-common color - closely followed by British grey and American gray.

343,000,000 - yellow

668,000,000 - red

581,000,000 - blue

471,000,000 - green

111,000,000 - purple

274,000,000 - orange

718,000,000 - black

717,000,000 - white

136,000,000 - grey

147,000,000 - gray

Thus, if you want to be unique… say "six purple-grey things" a lot.

Even more disturbing facts dept:

E is not the most common letter anymore. Whereas E has 258,000,000 results on Google, the letter A has 6,720,000,000; I has 3,580,000,000; O has 2,340,000,000; and U has 1,110,000,000.

Progress-o-meter: I've been working on speeding up the overworld map when there are 35+ cities on the map. I have been successful.

But cool, I didn't know that.

Wow. Statistics are fun, but… wow.

Oh my god, I just saw six purple gray things!

Spell it right! The British "grey" is more uncommon than the American "gray."

NeutralReiddHotel 18 years, 11 months ago

Yeah, I meant the American gray.

That's BS, there aren't any statistics and we know for a fact 23 is the most occuring number, after 1.618, or Phi

omicron1 18 years, 11 months ago

23 is not a 1-digit number. Nor are 1.618 and pi. Besides which, I said the number which occurs LEAST is 6.

Read. What. I. Said.
