I've been working on the "worldfeel" of my game - adding music, sound effects, etc. to establish a virtual environment. By now, it's good enough that I am thinking about adding a first-person feature just to explore the world with.

I've also added both rainy weather and nighttime weather - they look unique and, I think, rather good.

Rainy weather in particular has a unique set of effects: raindrops falling from the sky, darker background and fog, rain SFX, and little splash particles both on land and in the water. Here's a pic: (it isn't too easy to see the splash effects in this one, but they're there…)

I'm now working on the user interface and controls.

I got the second strip and half of the third strip done. I submitted the strip idea to comicgenesis - if it's approved, it'll have its own website. I made some character bios and established some more background history in my File.

The second strip will be released sometime tomorrow.
