There's a slight namechange going on here: my webcomic has been officially named "Universe Incognito."

This comic marks the appearance of the first Character in the comic: Tran Soomin.

The wierd mop-like thing is a VacuuMop. It uses suction to gather nearby loose objects into itself (the bristles keep out anything larger than dust and debris) and compact it in internal storage chambers.

I have created a bit more of the game's interface. It consists of a dropdown visual menu, divided into different eras, that allows you to set the building "brush type"; research technologies; and build units, all from one screen. It also provides a visual indicator of what is needed for any particular upgrade, so you don't get lost.

By the way, this image also shows off the rain and nighttime effects. It doesn't show the new "high-detail" tree models I've been working on. They will appear in place of nearby trees, and eliminate some of the "pixelated" status of the trees ingame. The same will go for high-detail bush models.

Finally, I am working on a first-person exploration and activity mode a bit similar to Rise and Fall's hero control - with one important difference: You can control any unit on the battlefield. Thus, if you take over an archer, you'll have to learn to aim well; if you decide to use a cavalry unit, you'll have to utilize it's strengths (speed, trample damage) while avoiding the spears of the enemy. This is at the moment a very tentative idea, so it may not make it any farther than the concept stage. But for what it's worth, there it is.
