HELP!

Problem with the contest is, everyone is more willing to vote for the 5mb game than for the 45mb game, no matter what the quality of the 45mb game is…

I've got some two dozen comments saying "Wow!" and "Great!" and "9.7/10"… why won't more of those who said that come vote?

DoC steps to release:

1. Create Swordsman, Archer, and Catapult units

2. Create Stable, 2E techs, and the shrine building.

3. Convert horse models/animations to culled versions

4. Make Scout Cavalry unit

5. Implement supplies and morale

6. Work in a tutorial

Beyond this, I've added some miscellaneous interface features recently:

* Roads don't display green "range circle."

* Selecting buildings/units is possible in multi-select box

* Houses have need requirements for upgrading

I'm sorry this is taking so long; I just don't want to disappoint you all in any way when it finally appears. I assure you, the final product will be worth it.

Yeah, marbs is good with bribing. [;)]

Good luck…maybe it's because people hate big downloads.

Yay….

Anyway, I have a new DoC screenshot for display - a legion of 2E swordsmen, complete with bronze armor, swords, and shields.

that isnt a legion

a legion is 4-8 thousand men

thats like, 44 guys.

Nice though

GRRRRR. I want to beta test so bad, and i want to vote so bad, i wait like a week to get activated and then it doesnt even let me vote.

well, when is the scheduled bets release, so i can look forward to it

Well, I've run into a problem with the way I animate soldiers - it slows down the game immensely. (15 fps with just those 40 soldiers on low detail)

Thus, I am trying to figure out a way to convert .g3d files or .obj files to .md2s, which Xtreme3d can animate on its own and much faster.

So far, I haven't had much success; but I'm working on it.

Yay… only three people (other than myself and four of my siblings) bothered to vote for it. You (Kilin) are the only one of those three I know; and Abacus is included in the beta people because he tried to vote but couldn't; but I still don't know who two of the voters were…

They could've possibly just been people from that site.
