I promise I'll finish DoC before reaching #100…
Anyway, to content. Got a progress report, an "eye-candy" shot, and a demo for y'all.First things first: The progress report, DoC edition.* Added yet another 2E building - the Siege Workshop. Two more to go! * Added the Catapult as a buildable unit in a second unit tab.* Messed with the lighting, making light adjust itself according to the current skybox.* Added some "scenery" objects, including a broken pillar I made long ago* Added some more stuff to the editor* Fixed a major pathfinding/avoidance bug* Updated the map maker to add smoothing and cliff-finding tools, and to be able to handle a LOT of textures in one map.* Updated the terrain renderer to eliminate "stuck-through-terrain" unit render errors* Fixed the major road-render problem that's been there since the beginning: Roads now accurately conform to terrain.Next: Eye-candy of the week. Made in 15 minutes with the map editorNext: A new demo of UR. This one is to test difficulty - there's a "normal" level and a "hard" level included.Full changelist:* Removed "extreme parallax" effect* Added several new enemy types* Increased general difficulty* Added a second level* Added a (basic) "factory" background* Removed inertia effect* Added a control customization screen.* Added all 11 Option weapons* Added between-level shop (temporary option addons don't work yet)Download here
Looks cool, and if it only took you 15 minutes to make that scene with the map editor, well, that is awsome.
That candy is not tasty.
That screenshot made me horny >_>
That screenshot abuses lighting to make the level seem better. But yeah, still very nicely done.
Well, in part…
…But it was also a pretty good-looking view.
