Restating my acceptable-length 591-character blog, as some callous person incorrectly reported it…
"Blogs with little or no content are not allowed, and may be removed from the front page. Short blogs may also be removed, a blog should at least fill the space for writing the blog, stretching it."- This blog contains a game demo, as well as 4 news clips. What more do you want for content?- It takes up more than the blog-writing section.- It is 291 characters more than the stated minimum.1. UR is rapidly approaching release-candidate state. When it reaches that state, I'll release it to the public to test.2. aNet is now one of exactly two entries in the previously-mentioned contest - and the other one's a breakout clone. I think I've still got a pretty good chance of winning in the two days remaining.3. Tumble! Concept release. Test the engine, try to solve the two included puzzles.download it4. If all works out as planned with the aNet contest, I may get a copy of TGEA. At that time, I'd want to see about remaking DoC in a more efficient, "modern" environment.
Oooh shit… I can't even start that demo :/ Gives me Windows error…
Whoever made that competition needs to advertise better.
"unexpected error occured when running the game" :(
Huh. Well, I just tried the demo a moment ago, and it worked fine. I don't know why people are having trouble… you did extract everything, right?
The concept of tumble is a good idea, and it worked for me, but was just a bit buggy. A few times when I restarted the level, half the objects had disappeared O.o
That one is a DLL problem. I've been trying to work around it, but with no luck so far.
Haha, its excellent. I can't wait to see more. Quite challenging too. Good work.
[edit] Hahaha, excellent bug. I became a block instead of the ball. Hehe.Yes, as I said, I really can't do anything about that bug, as it's in an external DLL. I keep trying different methods for restarting rooms to fix it; but none of them have worked yet.
Glad you liked the gameplay, though.=(
It's not working for me.
