Ok, here goes. My newest project, my newest attempt at the $1000 grand prize. This time, with 100% more community feedback!
What we have here is a curious breed of platformer/puzzle game called Elemental. You control a group of Elementals in a series of levels, and attempt to get as many as possible to the glowing portal at the end. A radial menu allows you to Combine elementals to create new gameplay elements - for instance, three clicks can transform your Fire and Water elementals into a lifting Steam Jet, allowing your intrepid group to reach new heights… or you can use a Light and an Earth to create a giant rolling boulder, useful for smashing doors or plugging holes… with six different Elements at your disposal, the possibilities are nearly-endless.Elemental engine demo. Please test.

Hmm..Takes a while to get used of it, but it's a great idea, and very nicely executed. =)
make the text appear all at once, instructions were displayed painfully slow.
That's on my to-do list…
Very creative concept. The idea of mixing elements to finish thee puzzle was very interesting, however, I have to say you need more available to you so you don't just get one or two to finish it.
Like _Player_ said, instructions were very slow. Finally, in case an elemental can't reach the combination area, make it reparable. I hate accidentally putting it up too high and having to restart.Looks like a lot of fun. Good luck.My intent is that you will start with one or two extra Elementals of each type needed - so that, optimally, you will be able to retry any given puzzle if you waste a combination. Plus, as you finish areas, you'll earn more Elementals to start with, allowing you to try different solutions to each puzzle.
On the subject of high rings, I tried to make right-mouse and middle-mouse get rid of those - however, it would appear I missed. I'll see what I can do about that.Again, I will be correcting the instruction speed issue. Thanks to all who reported it.Might be worth limiting the position of the right-click ring and some of the graphics are a little hard on the eyes. I think it just needs polish, to be honest, you've got a strong game mechanic and the possibility of some interesting puzzles. I think some alpha blending around the edges of some sprites may be useful in addition.
100% more than 0 is still 0.
