Snowy the Snowman

Well, we posted Snowy the Snowman (a demo of course), and it, of course, didn't work at first but now it does, thankfully (I keep checking it now). Anyways, I hope it'll go over well, because this is basically the project i've been working on for like half a year. It's been a fun project… some kid at our school wants us to try to sell it, but its not likely. Our idea is to just sell him twenty copies for like 3 bucks and if he makes some profit, good for him, if not then we still get money XD. But who knows, it'll probably end up on 64D anyways. I mean, we wouldn't deny you guys our game, would we?

On the topic of my life (everyone just stopped reading) I'm pretty happy. Water polo is FINALLY over, i've got a break until it starts up again in the fall. Its a pretty tough sport, for those of you who don't know. What goes on in the locker room… well lets just say its hard to hang on to your sanity. Or your virginity. Anyways, it'll be fun to play it again in a few weeks, but for a while i get what i consider to be a well-deserved break.

As for my writing, I haven't gotten too far lately. Its a shame, because my dad keeps telling me that the novel i've started is really good so far, but I just don't have as much inspiration as I used to. I'll have to dedicate myself and crank out some words. Preferably good words. But if anyone is remotely interested in seeing what i've written, check out http://www.storiesmania.net/community/member.php?u=3267&tab=stories . I'll be surprised if someone actually clicks that link. I don't think of people who make and play video games a lot as people who like to read or write. Then again, there's me, so who knows?

Well thanks for reading my ramblings. I hope Snowy is well-liked.

It was kinda fun, and I never had problems with it.

You know how to improve it? Make that snow man into a sun man that has to eat some magic ice so that he stops melting anyone who gets too close. In fact, work that into the plot as a metaphor for a character that always hurts the ones he loves when they get too emotionally close.

Shork, stop eating crack. That's not how you do it.

LOL did you see that the guy deleted his blog? I'm starting to feel sorry for him for shooting down his idea like this… Then again, he was asking for MY sprites for a game that CONVINIENTLY had a title that was like 6 letters off from ours.
