Whenever life gets you down, Mrs. Brown
When things are hard or tough,When people are stupid obnoxious and daft,And you feel that you've had quite enough…Just remember that you're standing on a planet that's revolving,Revolving at 900 miles an hour. It's orbiting at 90 miles a second so it wreckin'Round the sun which is the source for all our power. The sun and you and me And all the stars that we can seeAre moving at a million miles a day! In an outer spiral arm at 40 thousand miles an hour In the galaxy we call the milky way.Now the galaxy itself contains a hundred billion stars. It's a hundred thousand light years side from side.It bulges in the middle 16 thousand light years thick,But out by us it's just three thousand light years wide. We're 30 thousand light years from Galatix and Il QuanThat go round every 200 million years! And our universe is only one of millions and billionsIn this amazing and expanding universe. Now the universe itself is expanding and expandingIn every direction it can widAs fast as it can go,The speed of light you know,A million miles a minute - That's the fastest speed there is -So remember when you're feeling very small and insecure,How amazingly unlikely was your birth. And pray that there's intelligent life somewhere up aboveFor there isn't any down here on earth!!!Lighten up! There are stars in the sky!Lighten up!It's a good question why,But you don't know the answerAnd neither do I.So meanwhile let's just all lighten up.And…Remember that you're standing on a planet that's revolving,Revolving at 900 miles an hour. It's orbiting at 90 miles a second so it wreckin'Round the sun which is the source for all our power. The sun and you and me And all the stars that we can seeAre moving at a million miles a day! In an outer spiral arm at 40 thousand miles an hour In the galaxy we call the milky way!In an outer spiral arm at forth thousand miles an hourIn the galaxy we call the milky way!~Jim Post—————————————————-Love that song.I'm new here. It's so hard to tell if I'm considered a noob or a newb, but I guess I shouldn't worry about it that much and more about making games.I'm working on an arcade maze game called Purpliggy - and planning to submit a WIP soon. I'm just switching from GML to code (I started GM in August) and teaching myself as I go. It's really fun to program! I never realized how much fun programming games could be! Thank you mark overmars! So… How do you people on 64 Digits come up with what to blog about? It seems to me that most blogs are about other blogs. That would be blogging about others blogging about blogs of others on the subjects of someone else's blog. I like doing that.Final Words:Be happy (that's an order)rabid squirrel
I've got that song too, it's great =D
Oh, and the first verse is this:
"Whenever life gets you down, Mrs. BrownAnd things seem hard or toughAnd people are stupid, obnoxious or daftAnd you feel that you've had quite enough"Meh, I don't blog much anymore, it seems like it just became another task that had to be done rather than just something fun, so I stopped. Now I just roam the site and comment.
BTW, from what I've seen you haven't done anything retarded yet so you're pretty cool.Never heard that song before. And I am also new here, although I have 2 years of experience with forums and 1 year with blogs. And just blog about the first thing that comes to your mind that ISN'T a nooby topic.
Did you thank Mark for making game maker, that was a bad idea. The program caused his army of noobs to show up at my door. I shoved them in the closet, but there more annoying than crickets.
Thats the mods/admins job. Get to work FB!
