EducationFailure

So I've NEVER posted about my life here since normally I figure it should be used to collaborate ideas and stuff but I'm just sorta pissed now and I'm normally pretty calm.

I have a 91%in math so its good enough that I shouldn't have to do the hw(which doesn't even get marked)that I just look over and make sure I get it cuz I've mastered y=mx+b(ya,pretty sad).I've created formulas during class for it.Normally my teacher just gives me normal detentions in for not doing the hw which doesn't matter since I'd go there anyway since math is after lunch.Anyways,he wasn't in today and some other person was there and when I didn't do my hw,she sent me to the office to talk with my VP

I stay calm the whole time and try explain why I don't need to do the hw,and she just yells at me and tells me that it isn't elementary school anymore(I thought high school was where they finally let go of my hand and stopped forcing me to do all the redundant work).So after getting in trouble for telling her stuff like I understand her POV but I still don't agree,I get 2detentions at the office,a threat of suspension and the knowledge that she plans to follow up with my math teacher on whether I'm doing my work or not.My science teacher who wanted to beat children was cool in that he didn't care what you did unless you were being obnoxious

That's how my science worked,it was nice like that.All the homework added up to 0.1% of my final mark(and there was 300 assignments by the end of the semester)

ooh, so advanced! I could never do that!

lol, y=mx+b is so easy XD

Exactly,we've been pummeled with it the entire semester.I get it,but for some reason the class has trouble understanding that a horizontal line has a slope of 0

y=mx+c

c²>a²+b² = obtuse triangle

c²=a²+b² = right triangle

c²<a²+b² = acute triangle

My Geometry teacher gives us assignments and he normally gives us enough time in class to work on them. even if it is two days. What he does is called a "Notebook check" where:

Let's say we had four assignments from the book.

He hands out a sheet that has a blank space for three problems from each assignment and then we copy from our notebook the answers to the three problems and copy down our work shown to get the answer.

And a vertical line don't have a slope. Or it is "undefined."

*c²=a²+b² = right triangle*

Also known as Pythagoras' Therom (I can't spell it)

Pythagorean Theorem! Yeah!!!

The small side and the med. side squared and added equals the hypotenuse squared! Yay for Geometry!

Geometry rules,my teachers can't even show me a valid proof for the pythagorean theorm.I just found one on the net instead

My teacher showed us how to do the p. (lazy typer, but with the time I spent typing this small statement I could have typed the word, oh well) therom on a smartboard.
