Went on a walk with my sister yesterday, but she got tired by 2330. Such a paranoid person, worried I'd step all over glass or something. Went to a park after walking through some woods and sat around. Some people on bikes went by and we could hear them just going on like "Holy fuck!" "What you holy fucking?" "That's shit". The swearing only enhances the lack of ideas being held in those words. People swear, just like how I utter "like" while speaking. A buffer of thought because we humans won't just shutup while thinking of what to say. But those people weren't even talking of anything
So, how conductive do you think thoughts are through oral communication? My sister has the optimistic estimate of 80%. I don't think she accounted for speed though. I'd estimate .0x, human thought isn't complex enough to call for less than .01. That being said, this is given two equally receptive peopleAnyways, wrote up a Python app for saving all my mother's weakly compressed JPGs (weak camera gave 5x bloat)import os,Imageg=[]p=raw_input("Input directory path\n")for root, dirs, files in os.walk(p):g+=map(lambda x:root+"\\"+x,files)for a in g:. b=a+a[-4:]. Image.open(a).save(b). os.remove(a). Image.open(b).save(a). os.remove(b)(I added a little try: except:pass in since my mother decided that a PDF of my father's album cover was a picture, PIL disagrees)Now go learn about honeynets and stop reading laggy Python code
Come again?
Also, swearing randomly is a very silly thing to do, for what is the point of the words, if not to emphasise feeling? When you talk to someone about an idea, how efficiently do you convey it?
And if the swearing emphasizes feeling? Then you are not swearing randomly, so it is OK.
So long as you don't emphasize too much, in which case your feelings lose meaning.I tend to convey ideas spectacularly badly, but clever people tend to get what I mean. (And in several cases, I've been misunderstood and called a genius for having a great idea. I played along.)Great ideas sprouted by poor ideas of other are never a bad thing. The main issue is poor ideas sprouted by great ideas, which happens all too often
I assume you don't find yourself very conductive then. Should find a way to quantify mental conductivity before estimating the average
