The green circle is radius 2, I had a code that optimized and had Z=C instead of Z=0 and it screwed up the circle and the whole thing. Mainly the outside part. The blue lines weren't following the green waves. So yes, this is another futile attempt to understand Mandelbrot

The code is drawing based on how much Z overshoots 2 by. Since Z never overshoots 2 inside the set, that's just showing where Z ended up after 64 frames

I'm thinking I'm going to go check if the waves gradually change as the max iteration changes

I guess it doesn't have to really make sense as long as you understand the meaning… but it is something to wonder about.

True Poly, but how do you understand the meaning? Why did the the first to introduce this meaning introduce it like so?

I don't quite understand it myself. I can follow it to the second iteration where the negatives get flipped into positives. My grasp of discrete imaginary mathematics proves faulty thereafter
