why do you accept bmp o.0
I've been thinking about disallowing them. Or maybe I should convert them upon upload? I'm not sure yet.
Just do what ImageShack does and convert them to PNG. It is really easy with GD.
create a blank PNG the size of the BMP, draw the BMP on, save.
