Today I went to Alton Towers and it was really good! Well, apart from the torrential rain for about half an hour at midday (welcome to England, folks) and the wierd sideshow attendants that kept shouting at you trying to make you spend your moneys on some ripoff non-winnable game.
The rollercoasters I went on:Air - Lying down coaster - FANTASTIC RIDECharlie and the Chocolate Factory - Boat ride - Absolutely rubbishCorkscrew - Corkscrew coaster - Pretty cool but gave you headachesOblivion - Vertical drop coaster - Quite literally takes your breath away!Spinball Whizzer - Spinning wild mouse - One of my favourites! In other news, I'm starting an RPG similar to the one on this site, however it will be more sophisticated. I'm doing my favourite bit first though, the graphics! I know it's stupid, but hey, I have enough time. It's gonna have a map system and the ability to battle other people!(If I can be bothered)I'm also till trying to get the SodaHertz Admin edit news feature working. Any help appreciated, PM me! - Sam
Thousands of deer and fuzzy bunnies lost their homes for a freaking roller coaster… way to go, humanity. >_>
If it wasn't for my ridiculously low tolerance for G Forces I would love to ride rollercoasters. Yup, sucks to be me :P
what good would the thousands of deer and bunnies be doing for us though? nothing.
Thousands of fuzzy bunnies? You fell SORRY for them? We've got zillions in Australia!
BTW, I suppose I could help you with the SodaHertz edit news thing, I've done a few PHP/MySQL apps that are along those lines (I'm working on a news CMS right now).In defence to Alton Towers, it's very eco-friendly and there's bird boxes and things all around the park! It is in a wooded area, however no rides go above the trees so there's not much noise if you walk 50 or so metres into the forest… But I do like bunnies, both to look at and eat in pie. Rabbit pie is very nice.
Cewl. I like coasters =) .
