Well, since this project is moving slow, I might as well let you try out the game I'm working on. Yes, I do make games, which comes as a shock to most people, thought I don't know why.
Controls :Left Mouse - Change colorRight Mouse - Deploy laserObjectives:Hit balls that are the same color as you, try to get one of the bars on the left full and right click to deploy a beam of that color to change the color of the balls coming down.Notes:You must load a song at the start, and shitty iTunes formats wont work. The song only responds to music with drum beats like metal and hard rock, I haven't really gotten the sound analyzing down pat. There is no scoring yet, the # in the top left is the fps.Yeah, any suggestions would be wonderful.
Seems like it'll be a fun game once it's finished, as it's already fun now.
:( how do i download :(
Click the image, silly.
How did you go about analyzing the sounds?
The SXMS-3.dll has a spectrum analysis function, you should check out the example on the gmc.
linkDamn this game is pretty fun. Like Ikaruga, I suck at color change and basically play it like Mono.
I've been looking for some inspiration for my sequel to Resonance, and I think I've found it! (Steals and makes 3d which makes it better and everyone loves me and you get no credits)No love from abacus?
Very fun actually, but like described, it only works with songs that have a certain drum beat. Some drum beats are barely recognized. Regardless, the songs that DO work are very fun. But there's no scoring T-T
Looking forward to the finished product :DTwas epic playing NOFX's 18 minute The Decline on this.
Cool.
