People trying to guilt trip me into giving up meat is a really good way to make me angry.
And when I'm angry I want to eat meat.>:C You can't win like this. There must be better ways.Vegetables may have different parts, but they have parts nonetheless.
Have a heart, Sk8, and go starve yourself. :)Also, being vegetarian makes a lot of sense beyond moral reasons. The meat industry is a plague on the environment, and cattle consume enough grain to feed starving countries. I don't know the exact numbers off the top of my head, but it's pretty enlightening if you spend the time to research it.
Even just cutting out beef will make a big impact. Much more than driving a "fuel-efficient" car or fighting AIDS in countries that are suffering from dysentery, cholera, and other diseases that don't make headlines.—Not to be too crazy granola hippie or whatever, but it is something to think about instead of just dismissing it because meat tastes good (it does).
