Why are you guys into programming? What good does it do for you?

Is it because you think it's fun? Because you.. eh why else would you do it? And why did you start making games or whatever?

Here's my story:

I was a kid, I was playing boring games on my windows 3.1

I thought the games were boring, I haxxored them and changed their sprites and the highscores. Not programming really. One day, this supernerd friend of a friends mother who is my mothers friend or something comes to visit us. He borrows my computer and makes a game in qbasic, or maybe a program.. it was something like:

What's your name? *writes Isak*

Hi Isak!

A few days later, I rechecked that "game", and decided to make something similar. After 12409012 error games, I finally managed to make something that printed "HI" on the screen.

That's the way it is.

I made mah first dll today, hooray. It returns the last pressed key or something..
