Hello hello, here I am.
You know in the 90's (about 94-95 for me) the games were cooler because there weren't so many games.Or, well there were quite many, but not as many as today. Once I've bought a game, I played it, and played it, and played it. I knew all the secret tunnels, where that specific power up were, how to do that and that. You know what I'm talking about? I think games were made by people who wanted to make games before, now it's a job. Therefore, games were made with more "love" in the beginning.Today, I can almost never beat a game. Maybe it is because I always get new ones, as soon as I get tired of a game, but why do they get boring so fast?I don't know really, maybe old games just were cooler. From that, to this: Look, a new avatar! Is this one better than the one I had earlier?New banner too, which do you prefer, my new one up there, or my old one?secret messageLets end this blog with a image I made:-Isak
Animal Crossing is a good example of an emmersive, original, and fun game….though it is overlooked by some who would rather blow someones head off in Halo….really quite sad.
Brainstorm! Another classic: Rayman 2! That was an awesome game!nice pic
In the 90s, the games just couldn't focus on visual appeal only, because the performance of the consoles was so bad. So the appeal of the games had to come from level design, enemy design, replay value and all stuff like that. Nowadays there are games in which those things work, but proportionally the number of those games is lower. In other words, there is more crap now.
