I was incredibly bored from re-making my proxy-avoidance site, so I took a break, and am finishing up a program which will allow you access to a new domain extension, .gm.
The .gm domain name was created to allow the users of the GMC to have a "Top-Level domain" (because we all know that Game Maker users are teh broke). So register your .gm domain names on my shitty registrar (really, i threw it together in like… No time).http://steverolfe.com/newdotgm/Did I mention they were free? The first release of new.gm is expected tonight, or tomorrow, depending on if I feel like working on it.In other news, I'm re-writing my proxy avoidance front-end, and giving it the domain name: www.tunnelyou.com . You'll be able to use the proxy scripts through there as well as download them to host on your own server (if you'd like). The source code is released under some creative commons license, I'll figure that out when I finish it (probably share-alike).I also finished the quickbooks unlocker, but I haven't yet made it relock the files… Later on…And that's about it…
Wait a sec… client? Oh snap, not a New.net clone…
Wait how does that work?? Do people have to have a client on there computer to be able to access your domain?
It won't let me register firefly.gm
@APlusHost: I guess so, which makes it like New.net.
Sounds interesting. Will everyone that wants to view .gm sites have to download the client?
Yes, just like New.net, except you have more say in whether it gets installed.
Yeppers, like new.net.
@FireflyXWhat specifically does it not let you do? Error codes? What?Bleh… DNS is supposed to be the IP address of your DNS servers… <_<…
New.net is malware though. And isn't this thing a waste of CPU?
It says registering when i click the button but i left it for 10 minutes and nothing was happening.
