I like this picture. The quality makes it very lollable, but you've got a nice style going. Reminds me somewhat of JW's, but it's actually quite different if you think about it.
I have to check out that book you two are talking about. ESA, check couple of blogs back, there's other low-quality pic from me with same theme. It has better colors and nicer low-quality in my opinion.
It's a famous French book that's been converted into many other languages. Perhaps they have it in Finnish :D
Yeah, actually I saw that picture as well. Although I like both of them, the quality in the previous one I prefered. The low-quality sort of gives it a texture! So how did you make them, just drawing with a pen and then scanning it?
I drew it in Photoshop with mouse and then saved it as 0 quality jpeg. Then I opened that file and changed size to 50% and saved it again as low-quality jpeg. Then I opened that again and resized it to fullsize (580x580) and saved it as a low-quality jpeg :D
So basically you just resized it and jpeg-ed the hell out of it :D
You can actually see little boxes around the picture. I prefer the lossy compression on the previous one like I said before, but this one is cool too ;)
Really won't look away from the eye eating flower, will it?
We should colab on a project with that style of graphics. Planets could be done like Petit Prince, be weirdI was just thinking the other day, that it would look really sexy if I could write a lofi-filter like this for a game in real time.
Petit Prince was a good… strange book.

Lo-fi filter? I'll start right away.
Awesoem style, I love cartoony games. Im currently thinking of a drawing on lined paper-based graphics game.
