Hello everyone! This is a rather long project i wanted to do for some time, but I somehow never got around procrastination.
I started this about 3 weeks ago, and this is what I have so far:http://gamejolt.com/games/adventure/the-janitor-game/20289/The game is a top-down exploration/action/strategy.Use your amazing janitor skills to clean graffitis, kill rats in sewers, vaccum clean ghosts, and absorb water puddles with a sponge! Doesn't that sound cool?Controls:WASD: movespace: do stuffmouse: move stuff. There are 3 chapters available for now.Version 1.4 is up!
I liked the beginning. Didn't like the ghost world. (I think that's what it was)
Then I couldn't get past those funky fresh gangsters.Needs some polish on the graphics/sound/music front but genuinely fun and made me laugh.
Feel free to use 64Digit's file storage.Didn't try the demo, but it sounds like a great idea. Perhaps sone puzzles involving rotating pipes would be good? Maybe to open up a new spot to refill? And perhaps a few 'boiler rooms' where all your water dries up quickly, so you have to get a water source. I don't want to take over your project or anything, but I thought you would appreciate some ideas.
lol, 2 months later, oh wait a minute that's alot better than the others :D. Now that you've brought this up though I think I might play it :D
Version 1.4 is up!
Great! I might give it a try.
