The title sums up today's post nicely. Being sick blows.

Why does it blow, you may ask? Well, for starters, you're sick, and you feel like crap. And you have whatever horrible symptoms God cooked up to make you miserable, which in my case was a massive sinus headache, runny nose, clogged nose, and…um…DEAD ear.

But no, teachers have to be <i>retarded</i> and make you do all sorts of make-up homework when you're gone. <i>Plus</i>, it happens to be mid-quarter when I'm sick, and they decide my parents will be overjoyed to see my mid-quarter report card have a whole bunch of zeroes that it shouldn't have, and instead of excusing them temporarilly to make my grade reflect my actual accomplishments, they think it's best to give me D's and F's when I <i>should</i> be getting A's and B's (sounds like a Sylvan commercial…). Thanks, teachers. I appreciate it.

Right now I <i>am</i> well, actually, but all this piled homework is overwhelming. And I'm sick of it. No pun intended.

On the TOPDOWN front, I've done some more work on the blood and gibs, and they look really good. I also made enemies drop health-vials occasionally when they die. That about sums it up, as I've been mostly working on…
