So there I was, browsing about the recent releases when I find this game. The title brought a quote to mind, but I couldn't remember where from. Then I thought: "oh yeah…FLCL!" After beating my head against a wall for a few minutes, I downloaded the game and played it–you can read my review on the page if you're really that interested–but I couldn't remember how that quote from FLCL went, exactly. So I brought out my VHS tapes I recorded from Adult Swim a couple years back and watched Episode One, and got hooked on that show all over again.
So if I'm not online for the rest of the…um…night…it's because a.) I'm watching FLCL and b.) I need to go to bed after pulling an all-nighter working on the Conflict: Online website. So…meh.I'm also thinking about replaying Golden Sun: The Lost Age again, because I've only beat it twice and it's a pretty huge game (compared to the 10+ times I've beat the original).
Duuuuude FLCL is like the drugs for the soul.
I do so love that show.Man, FLCL kicks ass.
I've never seen Adult Swim, but I assume it's dubbed, which, of course, sucks…However, the voice-overs supposedly weren't as bad as most animes.Fooly Cooly is another confusing anime series, IMO.
FLCL… Rules. More. Than. Anything. Else. On. Earth… I lost all of my old tapes of it…
I just saw the ain page, and i saw, FLCL….Got my attention right away."Taaakkkuuuunnn…~"haha everyone loves FLCL, but the diehards piss me off. Here's the secret to appreciating FLCL:
Don't try to make yourself believe that show makes ANY sense.it was pretty sweet, but geezus it made no sense… trust me. It isn't that everyone just doesn't understand it… it really has no meaning AT ALL.Oh, it makes plenty of sense…if you're smokin' it up :P
Seriously though, watch all six episodes again with the idea in mind "it's all about sexuality," and you'll see that I'm right XDAnd firestormx, yeah, I have "shiftilly obtained" the Japanese version as well, and the dubs aren't really that bad (a few spots where it's localized and a few jokes are lost, but it's more or less the same FLCL you know and love).
