So my ongoing war with Microsoft to get a valid license key continues. For those of you with no psychic powers to look into my past, here's what's already gone down between myself and Microsoft:
1.) I got a computer from this guy, Keith, and he installed a volume XP Pro on my computer. My dad paid money for it.2.) Notice that Keith <i>installed Windows XP successfully</i>. Since I'm reasonably sure he didn't use a cracked WGA tool or whatever (he's a pro and owns a business), the key must have been valid at the time of installation.3.) Further confirmation of this is that I got to have Windows updates for awhile now.4.) I can assume that someone else that Keith sold a computer to leaked the key on the Internet.5.) <a href="http://forums.microsoft.com/Genuine/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=399994&SiteID=25&mode=1" target=_blank>Here's the Microsoft WGA Forum topic I made about the fiasco.</a>Now I'm off to church, and I'm angry as hell at Microsoft.P.S. WGA= Windows Genuine Advantage, with their "advantage" being you get updates and such.

For 3 months my computer was not valid for no reason (it had been before) then just earlier this week it was valid again 0.0

You can get a working one (pirated) easily, and it still works.99% of the people here use cracked OSesI know…I've used them before. But, dammit, I (or, rather, my dad) paid good money for it! Plus, I'm a Microsoft whore, so that doesn't help either.
this keith dude sounds like a total basterd. either buy a different key, or find that keith bitch and get him to cough up the money… OR ELSE!
