Okay, I'm about to give you the link to a 22MB ZIP file containing some pretty awesome music. If you feel like downloading it, there's a few things you should know.

All of these were recorded May 26th, between the hours of five and ten at night.

All of these songs were recorded by me, performed by Takedown, and edited both of us.

Chris Massa and Mike Quinn, two ex-Takedown guys, did the drums and guitar for several of these songs. That's why they all turn to funk-ish at the end.

Mike Radlinger, Takedown's guitarist, could not attend my party.

If you're looking for metal, leave now. There's one song, Pwnage, which sounds like metal at the beginning, but then it isn't. Too bad.

In order to understand just how awesome Barnebus Revisited is, you'll need to download the Barnebus pack, available at the bottom of the page.

Yes, Barnebus Revisited will have vocals, eventually.

Don't be put off by how bad the first song, Rock 'n Roll McDonald's, sounds at the beginning; it was half-intentional.

Likewise, don't be put off by the horrible singing. It was intentional, I assure you.

Chris Massa did the retarded singing for Rock 'n Roll McDonald's, <3mo Song, and some others; Cam Abreu did the funny voice at the end of Rock 'n Roll McDonalds's, as well as the hilarious voice for Turn Off the Lights ("Turn off the lights!Turn off the lights!Ow, my stomach!Ow, my stomach!"). Joel Scholttman, another local drummer who's a fairly awesome man, did the screaming for…I can't remember which song. I think it may have been Pwnage.

Joel may have also done some drumming for some of the songs; I don't remember and I'll have to ask the guys.

Pwnage was supposed to be a metal song for Project: TOPDOWN, but it ended up not being metal at all. Good one, guys.

The Darfin Song has a good chance of being the Project: TOPDOWN titlescreen music.

There's more songs that will be added later.

Brandon Freed, a.k.a. equa_olien, was at the party. He doesn't do Game Maker, but he's here on 64Digits nonetheless.

I coded this whole post in HTML manually. It took awhile, so enjoy it, dammit.

Download Links:Adam's House 2006 (working title) version 0.5The old Barnebus songs (by Mike Quinn and Carson Crawford)So post comments, and stuff.Later!
It was awesome, I was there.
It, of course, sounded better live than on the recording that we made, but it is really good for the amount of microphones(1), the size of the microphone (quite average), and where the microphone was placed (on a pool table right next to a blaring bass amp and the drums). I'm very surprised that we can hear any vocals at all from the fact that I couldn't hear them at the time of the performance.Listen to Darfin Song, <3mo Jam, Turn Off The Lights (no this wasn't staged, we were just recording Emo Jam and Cam walks his light-up drumsticks that now have batteries in them, and grabs the microphone), La Grange (a cover of the ZZ Top song), and Barnebus Revisited.I'm not too big of a fan of Pwnage mostly because of the fact that someone took the microphone and screamed inaudible "words" into it.Rock 'n Roll McDonalds is pretty bad, but Chris was being stupid and wanted everything off beat so it would be "funny". The only part that I like is when he purses his lips and blows.Anyways, that was one kickass jam sessionYeah I forgot to mention the story for Turn Off the Lights…
Basically, Cam brought his drumsticks that light up when they hit stuff, and they were broken. He took them upstairs to my parents to fix at the same time I took a bag of garbage out. When I came back downstairs he was yelling "turn out the lights! Turn out the lights!" and dancing around. It was really funny, especially if you know Cam. He was telling people to turn out the lights to try out the drumsticks.I also forgot to mention that <3mo Song and Turn Out The Lights are "connected," as well as Barnebus Revisited and 33 Seconds of Coolness. Meh.Interesting story. Cool music.
