Finals, Day Three (and Canadian Lawsuits)

Hurrah for the final day of finals!

It was another mixed bag today, with an incredibly easy Orchestra final followed by the moderately challenging Geometry final. I'm pretty sure I got a B or higher in both, which was what I was aiming for.

In other news, <a href="http://techdirt.com/article.php?sid=20060602/1259217#c244" target=_blank>it appears that I will be sued by Canada</a>. Apologies to 64Digits Canadians. Also, it turns out that <a href="http://64digits.com/users/index.php?userid=takua108&cmd=comments&id=3418" target=_blank>not as many people like Half-Life 2 as I thought they did</a>. <a href="http://64digits.com/users/index.php?userid=takua108&cmd=comments&id=3423" target=_blank>Or spoilers, for that matter</a>. Oh well.

I need to point out that Halibutski still hasn't gotten his 1K badge back yet. Strike, 64Digits citizens!

Also, <a href="http://64digits.com/users/index.php?userid=takua108&cmd=comments&id=3372" target=_blank>in hindsight, I dunno if everyone understood</a> <a href="http://64digits.com/users/takua108/flcl_90degrees.png" target=_blank>this drawing</a>. I mean, of course it's a freakin' right angle, but did anyone understand where I got the design from?

Tomorrow, after a grand night of more than two hours of sleep, I will resume work on <a href="http://www.gamecave.org/conflict" target=_blank>the Conflict: Online website</a> and/or start <a href="http://www.gamecave.org" target=_blank>the new GameCave website</a>. PHP ahoy!

Also, for random TOPDOWN-related news, I believe I've patched the memory leak in the media player. I also added a crowbar, animations for every weapon, and a F.E.A.R.-style "holster weapon" key. All I have to do is expand the ammunition system to include clips (and not just Quake-style non-reloading weapons), and I'll release the new demo. <a href="http://www.thetyphooncorp.com/topdown" target=_blank>Here's a preview of the new TOPDOWN website</a>, in case anyone's interested.

Well, now it's time for the aforementioned grand hours of long and uninterrupted sleep. G'night!
