So yeah, I'm getting a job maybe. My friend apparently joined a band in my two-month absence, and the band's lead singer works for a tech-support company. He told my friend that there's a job opening so tell everyone you know who'd want it, meaning just me. The pay's supposedly $8 an hour, which is excellent, because after a mere month I'd already have well over a thousand dollars; definately enough for my new computer I've been wanting for awhile now.

In the meantime, when I haven't been doing work for the United Way (a nonprofit charity group), I've been pirating various software for my PocketPC that my dad gave me (because it's old and he got a new one).

Since it runs Windows CE 3.0 (a.k.a. <i>really</i> old…like, 1998ish), none of the commercial programs run for it these days. So if you want software, you have to pirate it. Which is where this one torrent I got last night comes in: it has like every old CE3.0 application…<i>ever</i>.

And some Harry Potter eBooks. Highly illegal I know, but not really, seeing as how I own the real books (and J.K. Rowling won't allow for Book Six to be in electronic formats for some reason).
