I broke my PocketPC. Some friends were spending the night and I dropped it on accident. The screen isn't rendering properly and you can only see a corner of it entirely. My dad wasn't too happy with me, seeing as how he had just given it to me about a month prior (even though it was really old). I'm sad myself because it was cool, what with the custom skins and such I had made for it. I probably won't be getting another one, due to my budget going into saving up for a new PC.
In other news, I made this sweet news ticker app in Flash. Embedding stuff in 64D is a pain, so just check it out at my website.I've been learning a bit of ActionScript recently. It's a lot like GML and PHP, meaning "easy to learn for takua108."So yeah, that's about all I have to report.
About 5 minutes ago I was trying to make a button that goes to the first frame and even though I was following the manual, it still said "Syntax error" then a bunch of crap they expect me to understand.
The flash manual sucks too.-Arcon(release) {
gotoAndPlay(1);}If I'm not very much mistooken…=(
Poor PocketPC.Dude, it was a PPC. Those things are WAY more fragile than Palms. They're almost as fragile as Clies.
Get a palm like me - my palm may be four years old, but it's about as close to indestructable as you get.Palm Pilots are for noobs.
I never thought I'd say this, but…I agree with Chiken. Wholeheartedly.
My dad has a Palm and after playing around with it they should just pass it off as some sort of Apple iPalm or something. As in, it's not near as 1337 as my PocketPC.
