A Roast of Toast

Posted by thebogeyman on April 21, 2007, 10:58 p.m.

This morning I thought i'd make a scrumptious helping of toast with butter on it. So i got up, and walked to the kitchen. So i made it to the toaster and i had my bread in my hand, but my tired eyes deceived me, for i thought the dial said "2" when it said "5".

One thing led to another, and when the toaster finally popped up (i noticed it took extra long, not a good sign) it looked fine. It only looked fine because my toaster is messed up and cooks higher on one side. So i buttered my toast and took a huge chomp out of it, only to realize that it was completely blazed on the side out of my sight. I nearly threw up, twice.

The moral of this story is to always check both sides of your toast.

Like toast? Then you'll love my new game Palexia 2 which you can find in my showcase.

lol, reminds me of a time I put something in the microwave for 15 minutes when it was supposed to be in for 5.

Whenever i pop toast i always put it to 5. But mine spreads the heat out evenly so it isn't totally charred on one side.

AND BUTTERED TOAST DOES NOT LAND BUTTER SIDE DOWN. Unless it's from a table and you accidentally push it off.
