ARABIC THRASHARD

FADE IN:

EXT. PAN’S HOUSE – NIGHTFALL

PAN BELNADES is dressed in his usual flamboyant attire: a black tee sporting a giant silver crucifix with subtext saying, “JESUS IS MY HOMIE.â€?, and vintage jeans. Over the tee is an unbuttoned cobalt blue jacket. His face is long and boyish. It is almost covered by his sloppy red hair combed to his left. For some reason, he sports pointy sideburns like Elvis. He looks French but he has a small Spanish flair to him. He’s playing his Spanish guitar, crossing his legs, and is on his bed.

A knock on the door startles him and he stops playing after hitting a high note. He opens his oak door and appears XIAOAI XIE.

XIE XIAOAI is dressed in a black tee covered by an orange hoodie with short sleeves. Her shoulders are covered by a flowing purple cape. Attached to her jeans is a small keychain with a charm shaped as a panda head and a large flower pattern teal belt. She has hazel hair that reaches halfway a few inches along her curved back. A gigantic bang covers her right emerald eye, and she has a face that is a bit round and looks Han Chinese.

PAN

You ruined my cover of “Wandering Ghosts.â€? You, you wh… whippersnapper!

XIAOAI

I come with terrible news! It’s like… the Pope dying.

PAN

Oi. I know the Pope’s old but don’t scare me with his dying and everything. It really freaks me out.

XIAOAI

You always overreact to everything anyway. But this is dire so it’s appropriate to overreact! Behold!

XIAOAI slips a CD into PAN’s computer. A few seconds later, the room is booming with a fusion of disco, metal, and Arabic.

PAN

Huh? Sexy.

XIAOAI

No, not sexy! Evil! Very evil!

XIAOAI switches the song to a K-Pop song.

XIAOAI

Yes, sexy! Yes! Very yes!

PAN

…Very oh God, my ears.

PAN bashes his guitar into his computer monitor, shattering both the guitar and monitor.

XIAOAI

Why did you just do that?

PAN

I’m in the mood to smash stuff. Let’s hunt creatures of the night, Xiao!

XIAOAI

Genocidal freak. Killing vampires is genocide.

PAN

Is not! Vampires are classified as undead and parasites!

XIAOAI

Parasites count as animals too!

PAN

But they’re evil! Very evil!

XIAOAI

Killing isn’t so very yes either.

PAN

Why yes it is. Till the night of glory, fangs will fear the House of Belnades… and Belmont!

XIAOAI

And whips.

PAN

And whips.

XIAOAI

I suggest you help me beat up music artists interested in spreading this Arabic parasite across the world. Arabs are mighty cool though.

PAN

But they don’t blow up in flames!

XIAOAI

But they’re very evil! They’re… um… They have mechanistic views!

PAN

I SEE. IN THAT CASE! I CUT THEM!
