Useless title, read into it she's just my favorite character.
She's holds the always under-appreciated color scheme of green and browns, implying that she is ONE WITH THE EARTH. Also, green and brown go great together. I mean, the earth is like all that, so it's obviously the best color combination. All that is topped by her being an impeccable redhead. It is both alluring and symbolic. It satisfies aesthetic and function, harboring her passion for China and her own fires, as well as the fact that red hair is really nice to look at when it's on a girl. Beyond that, Meiling is a fashionable character who wears pants in the fighting games, and lets her legs out in a previous entry. She isn't afraid to set out from the rest. After all, she's the one who disregards the projectile to adopt the art of fine melee, and since it's Chinese martial arts, it is both graceful and sick nasty powerful (disregarding IaMP). Meiling however is yet so humble and subtle, her most entertaining traits being something to discover, not unlike the best works where beauty runs more than skin deep. From the slash with Sakuya to her memetic sleeping habits, her character ticks are full of both brevity and variety. And most of all, she is crowned with a cap with the insignia of a star, because she IS a star. Also, she probably has the best muscles, and that's great.
…you will meet with a tall dark stranger.
Thernz, you are now my buddy. Let's play some Touhou fighting games sometime. I play Reisen.
Meiling is also a lazy bastard, something you forgot.I'm really bad at the fighting games! And I rather not let you know the extent of it!
Also, @Cyrus:I'm not really sure!Don't worry, I'm bad too. Guess we could always play PoFV if you for some reason played the shooters, but I think all the other shooters are better anyway.
I rather the fighters but I'm actually worse in the shooters. So yeah, basically, I'm generally terrible. We'll fight… someday!
