sekai ninja sen jiraiya

I like how 80's Japanese children shows tended to have more stunts than even the most expensive Western action shows.

Oh Jiraiya, you are like the best, even with your lower budget than other shows at the time. Because you made up for that with all those fabulous stunts and all is forgiven. I also love Baron Owl, ninja of the Knights Templar. Your English is fantastic and you are a knight who is also a ninja, so how can I not love you?

Also, I haven't finished that animation from last time. Instead I made a lousy incomplete 3 frame attack frame animation which is based off of Remy's heavy punch from SF3 because I'm really lazy.

Also, alan why are you so anime looking

welp

finally do you like my tumblr theme, dont mind actually looking at it beyond the theme because it's kinda really terrible!

i also got a poster of 2046 and it is great because it is like more than 1/3 the height of my wall because it is so extremely huge. and now i can be reminded of tony leung whenever i open my door. oh, tony leung. you have such a smooth rich dark voice, like a cup of freshly brewed coffee. quoting godot:

Quote:
Blacker than a moonless night, hotter and more bitter than hell itself… that is coffee.
AND THAT IS YOUR VOICE. Well, not so much bitter.

also zhang ziyi and gong li and faye wong were great as always, being all pretty and stuff, zhang ziyi most so. but who cares because, tony leung.

it's too bad the actual narrative was really weak and lacking subtlety. like yes, i love your voice, tony leung, but you don't have to narrate and tell me everything i would've been able to figure out and it would've been so much more satisfying if i could just go HA I FIGURED IT OUT I THINK rather than going oh hey it's tony leung, time to check my answers like the bottom of a cereal box.

of course, i guess that was fine. the main point of the film was all of its lush choreography where every shot could probably be framed. maybe a tad overdone and superficial considering that rarely any of the shots do more than establish mood, but eh. the thing also sported some fierce color work. really superb use of lighting and shadows. i really want to incorporate influence from it in my games.

i also really really want to buy le samourai by godard. it also stars alain delon. *swoon* the criterion collection cover is so nice~

it's like take me now, bro. just take me. take ALL OF ME.

i also need to rewatch ashes of time redux. people say it sucks but i think they are the ones who are sucking here.

it's a great spin on the wuxia drama. great fatalistic undertones placed in a western-style wasteland. then add lots of introspective chinese knight-errands with swords.

i have a poster of it too but it's really small.

suddenly in the mood to watch more godard films

He is an otaku in the way that he is obsessed with idol Alan.

And in some other ways as well, of course.

if i get a bunch of prada ads with david gandy and plaster them all over my wall, would that cancel out the otaku

and alan isn't an idol.

If there is someone's face I wanted to see a picture of, out of everyone on this entire site whose faces I haven't seen, I would want to see yours. You just earned yourself a stalker! :D
