so remember when i was working on a rpg maker vx rpg
well you probably dont but i decided to start making custom graphics for it insteadit's based off of bof4, but with a different color palettei will continue editing it so that it looks like a frank frazetta paletteim thinking of just restarting the whole thing in gmand then i had an idea to make my own castlevania game because a lot of castlevania fan games just have plain bad level design and superfluously added elements. and they're all clunky as fuck in controls. in a bad way, not the way that the classicvanias were designed with the controls in mind. here, they're justbadso i started a belmont sprite. im not sure how i want to design dracula though. i want it to be a pretty subdued game. no fancy moves or that shit. just focus on flowing level design and textural landscapes. and no story because fuck that.the design is inspired by ps2 rygar and the classicvanias. i didn't want too much brawn.im trying to think of a pretentious name for it. all i have iscastle beyond the forestnothing playable will probably arise from either projects. but on the bright side, i am going to watch conan the barbarian next week. and it is spring break. god night. peklo rpg trailer
These sprites….
I want you.God night to you too.And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Our Castlevania Clones.
Or Newcastle Vania.Yeah, I know.making a fan art-game not a clone
I keep getting into RPG Maker and finding myself wanting to go to something more flexible myself.
Last time I seriously did anything in RPG Maker was in '99, I had made a large world RPG were you were a cat-girl treasure hunter in search of shiny objects of no real value.I could upload the old version of Peklo RPG but anything interesting was probably taken from someone else's script, and anything buggy is probably my fault. The whole thing will get a redesign if I start over in GM though.
