So

I tried watching some magical girl anime.

But I kept laughing at the bad animation and the wide-faces. There was just so much morphing of limbs and the depth and 3D shape of faces were all over the place. And everything was just lol.

I guess I could also just be really nitpicky about animation.

On the bright side, the witches (they aren't the magical girls, btw) were neat-o. And it also had stuff about granting wishes and contracts, and Kamen Rider Ryuki had that shit. So it was like great~

But in the end, I don't think I'm going to watch the second episode. I have it downloaded but it's always, "Maybe later." So the file just stands there, all in its lonesome, accompanied by other downloaded files who just don't give a fuck. Taking its time… to take time.

Magical girls, what can I say about them?

At least it's not Strike Witches. Now that's a clear extension of how deep pedophilic tendencies run in anime. Well, I mean those tendencies are arguably in most anime so! With magical girls, you can just scoff and say, "WELL IT'S FOR GIRLS." And then we all have a hearty laugh.
